 | | Ag Silver - Contemporary jewellery designer Silver jewellery featured on this site is produced by Ag Silver a family run UK business. Ag Silver launched their brand 5 years ago and it is now one of the most stunning collections of contemporary silver jewellery in the UK. It's young, fresh, exciting and it's for everyone. Their in-house designers have a flair for using traditional materials with a modern twist resulting in bold fashion statements. As an example, take a look at their onyx jewellery, silver necklaces and silver earrings.
Ag also prides themselves on their ability to make use of traditional materials in a truly contemporary way creating unique and stunning pieces such as can be found in their mother of pearl jewellery and onyx jewellery collections.
Mother of Pearl is a natural material. Also known as nacre, it is the smooth iridescent lining found in oyster shells. This delicate natural material has been beautifully crafted by Ag with sterling silver to produce the mother of pearl jewellery collection called 'Pure'. A perfect example of their craftsmanship can be seen in the "Pure" hand made silver bracelets selected by Opulus Gifts.
Ag also uses other materials in their jewellery designs such as enamel, resin, freshwater pearls, leather, wood and semi-precious stones. For example, black onyx has been combined with cubic zirconia stones in the range of black onyx earrings also found in the 'Pure' range of mother of pearl jewellery. Cubic zirconia stones are used in many of Ag Silvers' designs to add a touch of sparkle!
Contemporary jewellery designer, Ag, is launching several new themes for spring and summer 2006. Bold circular shapes and tootie fruity colours both perfect to compliment the delicate pastel shades set to hit the shops early this year.
New additions to Ag Silvers' mother of pearl jewellery "Orbit" collection have been announced. One of the new designs incorporates circular silver rings orbiting a central coloured piece of mother-of pearl, set with a tiny zirconia stone. This clean, striking design is available as matching pendant, and earrings in pretty tones of pink, lilac and blue. Take a look at the picture on this page.
